You're quite right., I am privileged, & I try not to forget it.
And every homeless person is first a person & then homeless, but the ness
of it is as often not choice but something forced upon them, by the
variances of circumstances, many of which are constructed by the
governments 'we' elect. Especially, as here, when they feel they owe more
to corporations (which under NAFTA & hte WB etc. are now considered
'persons' too) than they do to the people who should still be understood as
'citizens' rather than, say 'stakeholders' (whatever the hell those are).
'Choice' is often much more limited for some than for others...
