and I think (I feel?) that most of us who are not in favour of *this* war,
but realize a) that it is almost over & b) that the US/UK are going to win,
would agree with the feeling expressed here. We do not think Hussein or his
Ba'ath Party should be there, but there are those questions which continue
to bedevil our thoughts (they've been put too many times to repeat here), &
there is a fear of the unintended consequences. And so far, few real
examples of WMDs: the rationale...
meanwhile, sadly, people of good will & intelligence on both sides are
talking past each other. perhaps it's impossible, at this point, not to do
so...
