No one else has mentioned that sometimes a good arrangement is for the
reduced hours to be at the beginning and end of the day. Starting at 10am
and finishing early allows people to miss out on the rush hour traffic , and
may substantially reduce the amount of time they are away form home( and
therefore increase the amount of time they have to rest..
