Grenville -- the only experience I have had is with H2S-rich methane
samples -- we stripped out the H2S using degassed NaOH solution (4N) - much
in the same way that CO2 can be removed. -- unfortunately this leaves you
with a lot of H2O vapor to get rid of -- so it is not a very satisfactory
technique for ultra high vacuum systems.
