Dear List,
Apologies for our recent lack of themes. We've been rethinking the way
that these work, and have decided to do a theme every OTHER month.
List members, are, of course, still welcome to introduce their own
debates concerning curating new media art at any time, or to volunteer
to host a formal theme with invited respondents (please email me if you
would like to do the latter).
March's Theme will concern Curatorial Models, and May's Theme will
concern Journalism and Criticism.
In the spirit of reflection, below is a list of previous themes for your
reference. All messages are archived on the web site
<http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/new-media-curating.html>. Members can
also access eight text files which present edited themes from the first
months of the List (click on the "Files Associated with the list" text).
We'd like to extend a special welcome to all those who have recently
joined the List - we now have 359 international members registered, and
your participation and feedback is welcome.
Yours,
Beryl Graham
