Dear List,
So now it is Dr. Peter - and about time too, if it may be humbly said! Now
he may just have the time to get down to some REAL work! (Sorry Peter, I
just had to include that).
And so Roger, where do we get a copy of this must read? Copies MUST be
placed within the libraries of which he gleaned so much of the information -
anyway, Combe Martin at least!
Seriously though, many congratulations Peter. Guys like Mitch and Roger
Burton will have to bow and scrape to you now - god bless them! I on my part
continue to try to sell the idea of recording, recording, recording!
But the quote of the year Roger, (and sorry to be so familiar considering we
have not met), is Dr. Peter stating "the answers will come from
archaeology", oh! how I love him! Incidentally Peter, the retrospective
planning application for further destruction of Corner Lane was turned down
after a 35 page report from me!
Keep up the good work, and congratulations again!!!!
Kindest regards,
Trevor.
