According to my notes, taken from the Mines Inspector's Report (which
you may well have already seen), Inspector Pickering briefly says that
Draeger breathing apparatus was brought from Tankersley Rescue Station
and used successfully fighting a fire at Wharncliffe Silkstone, whilst
referring to rescue stations. There doesn't appear to be any more
information, but do look at the original Report.
