Is the consultant's response an automatic one based on some 'high risk'
characteristic he/she sees for this women? What is the risk? That she
can't lie flat on her back with her knees bent and separated? We all know
no woman should birth in that position.
It might be educational to question the consultant as to the why of the
election c section suggestion.
