Does anybody else out there feel that there should be some resources for
Social Care available through the national portals like Nelh or eLSC? I
know eLSC provides CareData Abstracts but that is a fairly small database.
I was thinking of something like the full version of ASSIA or Sovcial
Services Abstracts. Such resources are beyond the pockets of individual
trusts or departments and the national procurement programmes which are
meant to cover health and social care community have so far been very
heavily biased in favour of health.
Any thoughts, reactions, bricks, from anyone? I'd be interested to know how
many of you have contacts with social care and feel they are not being
catered for.
