Hot Potatoes (http://web.uvic.ca/hrd/halfbaked/) is great - it's not "British Made" but is available freely via the web.

Subject: online assessment tools
Hello!
Does anyone know of any authoring tools for creating interactive
quizzes/exercises on the web available in the UK?
We are in the process of developing an online information skills tutorial
for undegraduate students here at Sussex and are currently exploring
various possibilities for online assessment. So far, we've discovered the
Castle Toolkit, Questionmark and TRIADS. Any suggestions would be highly
appreciated!
Kind regards,
