We have a large collection of religious artefacts which are available
as loan items for students to take out into schools, it contains
items from all religions. Our religious studies tutor is suddenly very
concerned regarding the handing and care of certain of these
artefacts (especially the Hindu/Buddhist ones) for fear of causing
offense to people. Has anyone else had this problem? and how
have they dealt with it?
I feel very much that although we are concerned about this we can't
guarantee how they will be treated and if it is a big issue that the
department should take the relevant artefacts...
Thanks
