With the version of the UI you have you to manually set the
port range that you have chosen for your site for globus style
submission (not edg submission).
eg
export GLOBUS_TCP_PORT_RANGE="50000,52000"
or
setenv GLOBUS_TCP_PORT_RANGE "50000,52000"
With globus submits servers are started up on the UI within this
range so the STDIN,STDOUT can be written back from the remote
running job.
