**Naming the Learning and Teaching Portal**

The Learning and Teaching Portal Services project is working to pull
together and make widely available information and resources in support of
all those in HE and FE who have an interest in the scholarship and practice
of learning and teaching, and support the development of networks and
communities involved.

Information on the proposed services are available at www.ltsn.ac.uk/portal

We have, in consultation with one community begun the process of seeking a
suitable name for the portal and resulting services. To this end a workshop
was held at the recent ALT-C conference which brainstormed the following
list of possible names:

In order to help us in naming the L&T portal please could you rank your
preferred top 5 names and return the list of 5 to us by 24 Sept.  If you
would rather add a different name, please do. We will further refine your
results and share them with you until we reach agreement.
