The details for the November study day of the BSA Sociology of Religion
Study Group are as follows. Please consider submitting a paper yourself
and passing details of the conference onto colleagues:
RELIGION AND MARGINALISATION
Saturday 15th November
at Kingston University, Kingston upon Thames
10 am - 4 pm.
Call for papers on conference theme, including:
The dynamics and counter-dynamics of marginalisation within religious
and para- religious organisations; marginalised religious identities,
gay and lesbian groups, young people; disability; singleness and
non-family groups; gender and ethnic marginalisation in religious
leadership; political marginalisation; religion and asylum seekers;
marginalised religious beliefs and practices; and other broadly related
topics.
Off-theme papers and work-in-progress papers are also very welcome.
300 word abstracts should be sent to Sharon Moore (Conference
Administrator) by 12th September at:
