Dear List Members,

Below please find FMO Tips, and references to new online publications,
journal/newsletter issues, and web sites.

**Please note that long URLs may break into two lines in some mail readers.
Cut and paste each line of the URL, if this happens.**

1. FMO Tips (http://www.forcedmigration.org):

FMO Research Guides provide an introduction to key forced migration themes
and country situations. Currently, four country and six thematic guides are
available; more will be coming online in early March. Each guide has been
written by a subject or country expert, edited by the Content Coordinator,
and reviewed by members of FMO's Academic Advisory Panel. The panel is made
up of a group of academics and practitioners from around the world with
extensive and wide-ranging experience and expertise on forced migration
issues. Although the guides do not follow a set format, they all include the
following: an introduction to and overview of the issue/country being
discussed, some general statistics, a brief history, and maps. All types of
forced migration are addressed, where relevant and in line with FMO's scope
policy, including conflict-, development-, and disaster-induced
displacement. The guides also direct users to further information in FMO's
Digital Library, elsewhere on the web via URLs, and in printed form via
bibliographic citations. In this way, they serve a twofold purpose: as
introductions to important forced migration issues, and as navigation aids
to relevant information resources both within and outside of FMO.

2. New or Updated Web-Based Resources
