Introduction to e-Learning for FE
09:30 - 16:30 Tuesday 2nd December 2003
At Netskills, Newcastle upon Tyne
Many high profile reports recognise the importance of electronic information and delivery in education, particularly using networked resources such as the World Wide Web. A wealth of resources and techniques now exist which serve as a source both for exciting examples of new teaching practices, as well as easily accessible methods for adoption into everyday learning and teaching . This is a practical workshop for users of the World Wide Web who would like to understand more about how the internet can be used for teaching and learning. The workshop aims to introduce and explore some of the tools and techniques used in internet-based teaching and participants will have the opportunity to create some simple web-based materials.
It is suitable for lecturers from any subject area, librarians and learning resources centre staff, learning support, administrators and computing staff.
Kind Regards
Juliet Schroeder
