Dear All
I have found soon really good computer papers which could be good in the
aid of teaching art and design.
Some of the papers are Fabric sheets which feed directly through a computer
painter, they are made from real good quality cotton fabric and have been
treated so they are washable. They can be printed with any type of art of
photo and once they have been printed the backing paper is peeled off and
can be used as normal material. If larger pieces are required the printer
is put onto poster mode and multiples of 4 upwards will create larger
images which can be sewn together.
Water-slip decals are brilliant for teaching how art and the computer can
be combined. they are printed off then soaked in water for about 30 seconds
then the very thin film containing the image can be slipped onto any
surface except fabric, they can be made permanent by varnishing over them.
There are other types of paper to look at
For more information look at www.craftycomputerpaper.co.uk there are alot
