Hello All
We have been using Blackboard at Bangor since Sept. and it has proved to
be very popular with a rapid uptake amongst staff. One problem that we
are experiencing = when PowerPoint files are saved as html they must
then be zipped before uploading to Blackboard - can anyone recommend a
cheap pc/mac friendly zipping tool? Our only successful results in
doing this so far have been using a trial copy of 'winzip', other zip
tools(drop zip and Wiz Zip) appear to zip the files - but when uploaded
to Blackboard the message 'file empty' appears. Can anyone shed some
light on this?
Does anyone have any general recommendations for attaching PowerPoint
files to Blackboard? We have found that saving as html and viewing via
Explorer is the the most statisfactory result (and that uploading zipped
html via Explorer on a mac is impossible!)
Regards
Sian
