29TH INTERNATIONAL BYRON SOCIETY CONFERENCE
UPDATE FOR POSTGRADUATES
The Byron Society Liaison Committee is pleased to announce that additional
accommodation for the forthcoming summer conference has been secured at the
University of Liverpool. This self-catering accommodation, arranged
particularly for postgraduate students, offers a substantial reduction in
conference costs and is situated on the central University campus at
Mulberry Court, less than five minutes walk from the Feathers hotel. All
rooms are singles, with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. The cheaper
conference rates at Mulberry Court break down as follows:
6 NIGHTS (Full Conference, Tues 19th to Mon 25th)

Meals included other than breakfasts and
Sat evening and Sun lunch
3 NIGHTS (Academic Conference only, Tues pm to Fri 5pm) £187
All meals included other than breakfasts
ADDITIONAL NIGHT £18
Further accommodation has also been arranged at the Solna Hotel, Sefton
Park, where breakfast is included. A coach will be laid on each day to take
participants the short journey into the centre of Liverpool. Rooms at the
Solna are shared with either three or four single beds to one room. The
prices per person break down as follows:
ROOMS WITH 4 SINGLE BEDS
Full Conference £380
Academic Conference only £218.50
ROOMS WITH 3 SINGLE BEDS
Full Conference £410
Academic Conference only £248.50
Reservations at Mulberry Court or the Solna Hotel can now be made on credit

796856. For those whose papers have already been accepted, an initial
deposit of £50 will be required by March 1st. For those still wishing to
submit a proposal who will not have heard of acceptance before March 1st,
an extended deadline of March 10th is in place.
