Just had a quick browse through some recent threads ("proposal to turn
the tables", "VOPlot - Tool for plotting VOTables released", "VOPlot -
Errors and statistics; numerical output"). I see XDF is being touted
again, and some other tools which don't seem nearly as good as Treeview
et al. Also we might dispute that WCS attributes are part of the
display system and shouldn't be in the VOTable.
Even if Starlink were guaranteed to give all its presentations at the
meeting, IMHO it's worth plugging some of our stuff for non-attendees,
the longer-term record and new participants, and to drive our points
home. At the same time we show our expertise, experience of complex
data structures, as well as gaining wider usage of our software.
The odd presentation isn't enough. We must keep reinforcing the
message.
