The following may be of interest to list members:
Royal Society scientific discussion meetings
The Royal Society holds around twelve interdisciplinary scientific
discussion meetings each year as part of its scientific programme. These
meetings focus on critical stages of new or rapidly changing science and
technology.
If you would like to propose a meeting, and for more information, please
access the on-line form at www.royalsoc.ac.uk/forms
<http://www.royalsoc.ac.uk/forms> . Meetings are selected a year in advance,
so a successful proposal chosen at the Hooke Committee meeting in November
2003 will result in a meeting anytime between November 2004 and December
2005.
Please note the new deadline date for scientific discussion meetings for
2003. The strict deadline will now be Monday 1 September 2003.
Many thanks
