_Anything the Landlord Touches_ is a really excellent book, too.
Highly recommended. Well, while we're patting ourselves on the back
- what an amazing showing for Salt! Three of the six nominations. So
a glass raised to John, Chris and Clive, too, for their faith in us.
With you on the vindication, Jill: it is for me too. And I'll be
less restrained than you and add that my husband Daniel Keene made
the shortlist for the Play Award with Half & Half, though he's not so
sanguine about his chances: it's a little subtle for Australian
theatrical tastes. Most reviews here have wondered what it was all
about and whether it is a "play, per se" or just a wank. So a
vindication there, too; not that he's too bothered about all that.
It's been a sell-out in France.
