I was going to say the USAmerican response to 911 was predictable... But I
don't think it's true.
That the semi-abstraction called USA wouldn't learn anything morally useful
from it was predictable; but the conversion of shock into shlock and the
abuse of both was not. Not by me anyway.
What is being done to Bagdad now will encourage more "Terrorism", for the
reasons or by the reasoning you give - it is "the only conceivable kind of
resistance"
