Dear Dave,
Some of the list may be aware of this reference already - I came across it
in the Society of American Archivist's bulletin. Its about items of
historical interest/value turning up on ebay ("Scholars scour Ebay"). You
can read it at http://www.csmonitor.com/2003/0114/p11s02-lecs.htm
One thing that concerns me is where this valuable information ends up (not
archived by ebay I don't think at any rate).
