Dear all,
in respect of the results of research produced by Mr Koenigsberg, I would
like to mention, that social science, as well as multiple further
disciplines predominantely of natural science, indeed produce more
spectaculous views considering body to be a field of battle between any
possible (depending on the science) protagonists.
The approach of Mr Koenigsberg is insofar unscientific and unmoral, that it
not only regards the people with disabilities as the uncapable of
self-sustaining, but as well proclaims to have the ultimate right of judging
the functions of the body as an active contradition between the good and
bad. in general, the understanding of the two divided counterparts of the
subject (metaphysically or incorporated in the natural encounter of the
health with desease) and therefore inforcement to overcome one another is
not a fare one, not only as a political programm, but as well as a
scientific interpretation of the reality-founded social action.
As far as I am cocerned the proposal of Mr Koenigsberg, that one should
interpret the bodily functions as a 'mirrow perception' of unconciousness,
whereas these unconciousness should be transparent as well in the linguistic
discourse, and thereafter forces us to communicate about the outer (to our
bodies) world in the way that we do, i.e. in transmitting the world as a
permanent and not transcendentable opposition of friend/ enemy. (Do I
understand you correctly, Richard?) The practical implication of this is
more than terrible and will not only give the exemple of its application in
the modern interchange in the politics (as a result of the social band), but
as well in the history of such development as in the 1933-45 in the
NS-Germany: The one with the bodily disability has no disability in the
body, would be the further implementation of this hypothesis, BUT the
disability in the mind, that is to be cured (with whatever means there're
apliable) in order to heal and to purify the person, and with it, the
nation. In case, the process of purification or correction of the mental
desease isn't likely to be achieved by medical intervention, should the
person be extracted from the society. (and herefor one can think about
different methods of social and political actions: exampling from Korea,
USSR, Rwanda or NS-Germany.)
Continuing the idea of the desease, I would assume Mr Koenigsberg would
appeal to the people with internal sickness (of the flesh), to be put
neither in the state of anarchy or revolution, but of the war with itself,
i.e. in the time, when the extraordinary conditio is made into the ordinary
condition. Which, no more further comments, could be used to apply the body
as an instrument of self legitimation of the other, with no regard onto the
ethical part of the issue of "use." the decision of who will use whom will
fall solely under the contradiction of powers (the strongest takes it all),
and doesn't even desire demand oneself aboutr the ethis responsibility
towards the uncapable.
The crucial point is though, the (bodily) uncapability is supposingly to be
read on the language the person uses. Will we try to define the
motherspeekers of one language (and thereafter the representative of a
certain cultural areal) for more capable than the other? Or should we just
exclude those, who have articulative deffects of speech?
With this ideas, Mr Koenigsberg, one will go the long way especially in the
changing world order of the modern days. You should be the first adept of
it,
with best regards,
