Conference Announcement and Call for Papers
The 2nd International Conference on the Care and Treatment of Offenders with a Learning Disability
University of Central Lancashire, Preston, UK
9th - 11th April 2003
Organised by the Faculty of Health, University of Central Lancashire, Preston, UK in association with Calderstones NHS Trust, Northgate & Prudhoe NHS Trust and Nottinghamshire Mental Health Trust and the Royal College of Nursing.
In the United Kingdom services providing care for the Learning Disabled Offender, both in the NHS and independent health sectors and the criminal justice system, have struggled to find a platform for their speciality. This conference to be held at the University of Central Lancashire will offer unparalleled networking opportunities for delegates from the UK and overseas. The content area for both keynote and concurrent presenters includes:
1.Overview of Forensic Learning Disability Services from a European and North American perspective
2.Benchmarking in Forensic Learning Disability Settings.
