Each section includes some statistics on usage, case studies of projects and action plans for future development. Topics covered include: electronic government initiatives and electronic commerce. Users should note that the paper is in pdf format and therefore requires access to an Adobe Acrobat Reader for use.

Congestion Charging: Transport For London Official Site
Description: This site has been created by Transport for London, an official body of the Greater London Assembly to provide the public with information about the congestion charge which will be introduced in February 2003 with the aim of reducing road traffic in London and increasing investment in public transport. The site include maps of the zones covered by the charge, lists of the fees and the facility to make payments on -line. It also includes links to GLA factsheets, press releases and documents which provide background information on transport policy in London and the progress of the scheme. Note that as this site is maintained by Transport for London documents support the need for a congestion charge.
