Apologies for cross-posting.
Several people have emailed me asking to be reminded about the
new 'Researching Cross-Nationally' section in European Societies,
about which I posted a notice some weeks ago. Also some people
have said that the Notes for Contributors are not available on the
publisher's website. I am re-sending the message, suggesting that
people who need the Notes for Contributors should email me with
their fax numbers and I will send them a copy.
EUROPEAN SOCIETIES
The Editorial Committee of European Societies, the journal of the
European Sociological Association, has decided to have a new
section in the journal, focusing on methods. The title of the section
will be 'Researching Cross-Nationally'. I have been asked to be
Special Editor of this section.
The purpose of this e-mail is to solicit articles that explore some
aspect of cross-national research methodology, relating to Europe,
broadly defined. These can either be shorter Research Notes of
around 4-5,000 words in length or fully developed (not exceeding
8,000 words in length).
Please send me suitable articles, bearing in mind the Notes for
Contributors that can be found at the back of the journal issues (or
email me with your fax number so that I can send you a copy).
Feel free to pass this e-mail on to colleagues with interests in
cross-national research methodology.
Best wishes, Judith Glover
