April 11-12, 2003
Plymouth State College
Plymouth, NH
The 24th Annual Medieval Forum at Plymouth State College in New Hampshire is
now accepting paper and session proposals for this spring's conference. We
encourage submissions from academics from a range of disciplines-history,
sociology, education, literature, politics, philosophy, theology, art,
music, languages, and more. Independent scholars and graduate students are
most welcome. The early modern period will also be represented in the
program, with sessions on Spenser, Shakespeare, and many others.
Deadline for Proposals: 15 December 2002
Acceptance notices will go out by the end of January 2003.
Deadline for Registration: 15 March 2003
Please visit our web site at www.plymouth.edu/psc/medieval/forum.htm for
further information and registration materials.
You may submit a session proposal, or an abstract (250-500 words) through
our website, via e-mail ([log in to unmask]), or by post (Medieval
Forum--MSC #40, 17 High Street, Plymouth, NH, 03264). Please include your
name, mailing address, e-mail address, academic status, institution, and
whether you are submitting a paper, panel proposal, workshop proposal, or
simply an intention to attend.
Submission of an abstract, paper, or session proposal constitutes a
guarantee that you will attend the conference in April. Priority of
acceptance will be given to papers and proposals relating to this year's
theme, but, as is our custom, we
welcome and encourage submissions relating to any aspect of the middle ages,
as well as papers addressing the blurring of boundaries between the middle
ages and the early modern period.
