Hi Frank
Yes I have a good virus scanner too, called pc-cillin 2000. Every time I go
on line it passes to me any new antidote to any new viruses and checks my
hard
disk regulary and checks every email as it comes in - so hopefully you and
me will not have any problems, as I hope nobody else does.
Jackie :-)

I do not understand any of the technicalities of this IT stuff but
Jackie's own message appears on my email reader (Turnpike) only as an
attachment. It is identified as an html attachment but that is all.
I think that a reasonable virus scanning program would detect viruses
and the like in emails and in their attachments.
My program (Norton AntiVirus) did not object to Jackie's email and I
opened. I do not appear to have suffered. (Yet?!)
