Diane Taub and I are finishing a second edition of the American Sociological
Association's "Instructional Materials for Sociology and Disability
Studies."
Though there has been a lot of (very interesting) debate on the
disability-research list concerning simulation exercises, I have not been
able to find much that has been published, pro or con. Lilith Finkler
mentioned the same thing last spring.
Please, if you know of any publications or conference papers concerning
debates about simulation exercises write to me privately. I'll be happy to
summarize for the list any information I receive.
So as not to rehash what has been posted before, please do check the
archives of the disability-research list if you are interested in previous
discussions on simulations! (And yes, I will include this site as a
resource in our guide.)
The archives can be found at:
http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/disability-research.html
If you know of any essential, dynamite, can't be missed disability studies
resources that we should include please let me know ASAP (and if possible
include current information such as address, and/or email and/or internet
address). We are especially interested in international resources related
to disability and disability studies with which we may not be as familiar.
Thank you!
