I agree Ray; also I'm sure intranasal is a lot quicker to "establish" than intra-osseous. The latter isn't bad, but it still tends to take several minutes to set up in my experience. But I think Gemma's point might have been that they were struggling for i.v. access without moving on to i.o. access. Anyway, your intervention clearly worked before i.o. was needed.
