RIGOROUS AND INTENSIVE, the MPA/ID combines depth in economics
training (at the PhD level) with a multi-disciplinary approach to solving the most critical problems facing the world today.
FOR EXCEPTIONAL, MOTIVATED PEOPLE from all over the world with strong math and economics backgrounds, the program deepens and expands analytical skills through intensive coursework and offers real world experience through summer internships in international settings. Through the rigorous core curriculum, and electives in areas ranging from international economic policy to social policy to environment/natural resource management, students develop the tools to become leading development analysts and practitioners.
SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE for outstanding US and international
applicants through the Kennedy School. In addition, full scholarships are available for citizens of World Bank borrowing member countries, through our partnership with the JJ/WBGSP. For more information on scholarships, please see our website.

undergraduate institutions, most successful applicants have at least two years of work experience. Both US and international candidates are considered for admission. The application deadline is January 3, 2003. Classes begin in September.
