Well it's obvious innit? (Harlow speak - apologies). Modern medical students
must be well versed in communication skills, empathic reasoning and
conceptual thinking (for explanation, please see
http://bmj.com/cgi/content/full/323/7326/1429/a where I warned of the modern
GP-VTS curriculum infiltrating the undergraduate curriculum). Clearly
there's no time for such prosaic topics as anatomy or physiology anymore.
