Position: Senior Landscape Architect, EIA
Location: Scotland, South East, West Midlands
Salary: £Excellent
Our client, a major environmental consultancy with international presence
is looking to recruit Senior Landscape Architects for several of its UK
offices. With a minimum of 5 years experience post-degree/diploma
(Landscape Architecture or Landscape Planning) suitable candidates will
have excellent project management skills, along with demonstrable
sales/business development experience, gained within a consultancy
context. Experience of work relating to Visual Assessment and Landscapes
relating to the Renewable Energy industry is essential; in particular wind
farms and other developments relating to the wind industry. Along with the
technical aspects, candidates will also be required to make a strong
contribution to the commercial development activities
(sales/marketing/business development) of the client within the Renewable
Energy Sector, Landscape and Visual Assessment; and Landscape Planning
projects.
In return our client is offering the opportunity to work on high profile
projects with the full support of a major organisation. Salary will be
commensurate with skills and experience, but certainly competitive within
the marketplace; and an excellent range of benefits is also offered.

Position: Senior Ecologist
Location: Scotland
Salary: £Neg
An exciting opportunity for an innovative and dynamic individual at either
Consultant or Senior Consultant level to develop their career in parallel
with continued growth in demand. You may expect to work on a variety of
landscape and visual assessment projects including EIAs, landscape
planning, capacity and character assessment. You will need to enjoy the
challenge posed by complex projects and multi-disciplinary team working
and will have the necessary drive and innovative thinking to deliver
success. You should be a Member of Landscape Institute. Experience of
renewable energy projects will be particularly useful although our
client's interests extend to residential and commercial development,
aggregate and mineral extraction and utility infrastructure projects
amongst others. 4 years plus experience.

Position: Environmental / EIA Manager.
Location: Midlands
Salary circa £35 – 40k.
Our client is a major engineering & environmental international
consultancy who is seeking a high calibre candidate is sought to develop
the company’s environmental business in Birmingham and the Midlands . The
initial priority however is to manage the new project being undertaken by
our client on behalf of a light railway organization in the Midlands . The
successful candidate will have at least 10 years’ environmental experience
and have a proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects leading to
the successful completion of Environmental Statements. Particular
experience of rail (and road) schemes would be a distinct advantage. A
detailed knowledge of the environmental business in the Birmingham area is
preferable. The successful candidate will work with the environmental
team, managing technical projects, but is also expected to take a leading
role in winning projects and developing the environmental business in the
Midlands. This includes the identification and conversion of commercial
opportunities, as well as building up and leading the Birmingham office
environmental team. The successful candidate must, therefore, have
excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and have proven
business development and management skills.
