Ricardo,
You may not find a perfect option as most of the programs do not
currently offer the kind of personalized report options we find a lot of
researchers want - but in the sprit of Mick Jagger - you can get what
you need!.
First, you may have to do a little work in preparing your documents to
produce a report with the info you want with most programs. For
example, adding the info like name, date, and interviewer to the
document title and/or heading.
Second in regard to packages, you may find that most are going to offer
more tools than you're looking for and that the interactivity you ask
for when engaging with results is facilitated by first storing the
results in a "code" category. Other than purchasing more than you need,
these issues should not prevent you from finding tools that will help.
Look at MaxQDA, which is WinMax's older sibling if you will. It will
allow you to find search terms and phrases, save all results in a code
folder, review each one to accept or delete and then print a report that
resembles what you request. Lyn mentioned options offered by QSR. In
addition, look at ATLAS.ti, HyperResearch 2.5 and Qualrus (I'm sure
there are others too).
You should also use the term 'autocode' when examining the programs for
text search ability...it's used in programs like ATLAS.ti and
HyperResearch 2.5 for text searching. For example, if you open the
ATLAS.ti autocode window you will see four helpful requests options for
autocoding:
1. The ability to designate a code folder where your results will be
stored
2. Entry of your search expression
3. Designation of which documents you want to search at one time (you
can search one, all or a designated group)
4. Selection of how much text to mark after you find your result. You
can mark the exact terms you searched, the line, the sentence, etc.
Definitely look at more than one option...here are websites for the
packages I mention here:
ATLAS.ti : www.atlasti.com
HyperResearch 2.5 : www.researchware.com
MaxQDA: www.maxqda.com
Qualrus: www.qualrus.com
Good luck!
