Hi Sarah

I'll pass on the notes thanks - I find it difficult enough making
sense of my own. However, I'm interested in what you made of the
film. It would be good to have a live forum in which to discuss
movies that could potentially end up as study texts.

Danny Boyle seems like a good guy and it is a shame that The Beach
was such an awful movie. I'm a little apprehensive as Alex Garland
seems to have written 28 Days Later as well. On the plus side there
aren't any big stars in the new film which bodes well. The poster
makes me think of The Day The Earth Stood Still and other vintage
British SF movies. How would you classify it? Is it an SF/horror mix?

Cheers
