I am pleased to announce that Issue 12 of Internet Archaeology on
"Archaeology and Education" has closed and is available at:
http://intarch.ac.uk/journal/issue12/index.html
Many of the 10 articles that make up this theme discuss some of the very
best of recent applications of computer-based learning in archaeology.
Alongside an eloquent editorial by William Kilbride (ADS) and Michael
Reynier (LTSN), the articles in this issue focus on learning first and
foremost, then technology and its application.

Essential reading for educators worldwide and covering all sectors of
education from primary level through to professional development, a number
of themes emerge - not least that the Internet does unexpected things to
the contexts of learning, but that we should be careful to ensure that
these contexts are well managed.
All abstracts and tables of contents for articles, review content as well
as the Editorial for this issue are freely available but access to full
text articles are subject to subscription.
Internet Archaeology is a not-for-profit peer-reviewed electronic
journal. Subscription (institutional and individual) details can be found
at: http://intarch.ac.uk/subscriptions.html

Judith
