UIST 2002 will take place in Europe for the first time in its
15 years history. Come and participate in this unique event!
UIST is the premier forum for innovations in the software and technology of
human-computer interfaces. The symposium brings together researchers and
practitioners from diverse areas that include traditional graphical user
interfaces, virtual and augmented reality, multimedia, new input and
output devices, CSCW, and more.

UIST 2002 is an ACM/SIGCHI event organized by INRIA, the French National
Research Institute in Computer Science. The conference will take place at
the Maison de la Mutualite, in the heart of the Latin Quarter in Paris. The
conference venue is close to the River Seine, a short walk from Notre Dame,
Jardin des Plantes, the Pantheon and the Sorbonne, with easy access to the
rest of Paris via le Metro.
