Is there anybody high up in faculty who reads these lists....who is
interested in the training issues of the Leicester problem. Or anybody
high up in BAEM who is interested in the possible implications for
other A&E units around the country?

Chris you have it in a nutsell. Mr B gone to CHI 2 others as well as SpR
(completed CCT) gone or about to go. About 20 SHO's, SpR's training in
jeopardy. Speciality interest so far zilch.
What will happen, in my opinion nothing? Long term effects to the
speciality massive. Nevertheless like some of the football league teams
other units will topple.
Why? Because too much coming to A&E, NHS direct and so the list goes
on.....Also not in the political spotlight.
