C'mon Matt, on a 1 in 8 rota I expect! Our surgeons and medics are all on 1 in 9s and above. They do their calls from home with registrar resident. We're resident with SHOs on a 1 in 4 basis, and many of my colleages do similar.

That's nonsense, senior A&E presence dramatically improves quality of service, doesn't it?
