We have been asked to provide an MMT if the local BASICS cannot assist. This is an inappropriate response to an RTC, and so I
have secured an agrement from the local ambulance service that if SIMCAS cannot attend a response car will attend A&E and
collect a doctor +/- ODP or nurse and they will be transported. I will be doing a short training course on roadside safety and
management for any interested staff. In the longer term, this should lead to a SMART-like service.
