Experian-Goad have introduced a new, and rather more generous, set of rules for
fair-dealing copying of their shopping centre maps held by public libraries.
Fair-dealing copying is no longer restricted specifically to students and
schoolchildren, and it seems that anyone requiring a map for non-commercial use
can in practice have all of it copied, provided that the individual extracts do
not exceed A4 size. We seem to be back in the situation of the mid 1980s, before
Goad got very restrictive.
If this is relevant to you, and you have not received a copy of their public
display notice and explanatory letter, you can get more information by phoning
0845 601 6011.
