The Editors of 'Debatte - Review of Contemporary German Affairs' invite
contributions for its forthcoming issues. Established in 1993, essentially in
response to German Unification, Debatte, focuses on all aspects of the new
Germany, from its re-emergence as a major European and world power to its
domestic culture and society. Debatte is an interdisciplinary journal, reaching
beyond the narrower audience concerned solely with political science to all
those in the English-speaking world with an interest in contemporary German
affairs. Above all, the journal seeks to attract critical analyses of vested
interest and the relationships of power which maintain them and with that to
encourage genuine debate about the major features of this key country in
Europe. Manuscripts or abstracts should be sent to:
