 ASCE J. OF PROFESSIONAL ISSUES IN ENGINEERING EDUCATION AND PRACTICE

                        **CALL FOR PAPERS**

The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) has embarked upon a plan to
expand the contents of their Journal of Professional Issues in Engineering
Education and Practice (JPIEEP).  To this end, a legal affairs section is
planned to be made a part of the journal.  The inaugural issue of the
legal affairs section is tentatively set for mid-2003.

JPIEEP is a peer-reviewed journal that will accept articles not published
elsewhere.

The attached flyer provides details of the types of papers accepted and
topics covered.  A very broad range of articles related to legal issues in
engineering and construction are welcome.  Such articles include
professional liability, insurance and tort law, contract interpretation,
change orders, environmental law, Alternate Dispute Resolution, and ALL
legal issues pertaining to the execution of civil engineering design and
construction.
