Dear All,
I have received a planning application for a new residential property to be built next to a petrol station. A soil sample was taken from the area of land that will become the front garden. The only substance to be higher than the threshold trigger conc was Chromium at 38.2mg/kg. Although the action level is around 600mg I would be grateful if anyone could advise as to whether there maybe any significant risk that would necessitate further action taken.
Any advice/help gratefully appreciated!
Amanda Jones
