A meeting of Alexander von Humboldt fellows and prize-winners resident
in Cambridge will be held on Friday November 8, 2002 in the Meeting Room
of Clare Hall <http://www.clarehall.cam.ac.uk> (situated in the main
building of the college, off Herschel Road) from 4.00 to 6.00 pm. The
meeting will contain short, illustrated talks on Alexander von Humboldt
and the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, Bonn, and its awards.
Post-doctoral students and those about to complete their doctorate who
are interested in these awards are also being encouraged to attend, so
please inform or bring along any you might know (see also

http://www.avh.org.uk ).
