Further to my comments below we have not had any real difficulties with
TextHelp. It seems to work OK apart from having it set to "Speak as you
Type". It does not seem to pick up everything that has been typed
especially the last word of a sentence and when "reading" a sentence
after typing a full stop it also seems to "read" any deleted words. It
did this with version 5 and so I assumed that it was a design fault in
the software i.e. it remembered what keys you pressed rather than
reading what was on the screen. It does not seem to have this problem
when reading text.

Do you mean Gold or just Version 6? I do not like the scanning features
in Gold as it scans text in frames which makes it difficult for people
to copy and paste at times, fine for it to be read by the screen reader
not but much use for anything else. I do not think it warrants the extra
money compared to TextHelp R&W V6 and something like TextBridge for
scanning.
My tuppence worth for what it is worth.

Anyone have any thoughts or issues regarding the latest versions of
TextHelp - especially how it's behaving (or not) when installed with
other AT?
