Nations System and developing countries, seeks qualified applications for

Afghans’ Program (CDAP)
Background:
The Comprehensive Disabled Afghans’ Program (CDAP), aims to widen real
opportunities and choices for personal welfare to enable disabled persons to
benefit from mainstream development. It operates in 6 regions of Afghanistan
(Kabul, Kandahar, Ghazni, Mazar, Herat/Farah, and Takhar).
General Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve the content and outputs of CDAP, with the goal of
strengthening impact and ensuring sustainability
Strengthen CBR methodology and ensuring that program components remain in
line with CDAP’s overall goal
Design new programme components to produce a set of sustainable, privately
managed, integrated service centers that will be validated, endorsed and
supported as part of the public health and disability support services of
the Afghan Government.
Liaise with stakeholders to improve advocacy, programme integration and to
enable synergies with other disability-based programs
Support the Programme Manager in fund raising and ensure the highest
standards of technical progress and impact monitoring, using prior
international expertise
Assist the National Disability Council and Minstry of Martyrs and Disabled
in advocating, formulating and implementing policies and strategies
supporting the goal of equalization of opportunities for the disabled
