I am wondering if I can get some information on supportive opinions
or criticism regarding B.A.Wright's loss theory of physical disabilities.
Her book physical disability(1960,1983) is very famous. I hear that
she spent retired life with her family.
I am going to write a academic paper on B.A. Wright from social work
perspectives in Japan. I do not agree with all her theory.
But, at least in Japan, researchers on social work do not understand
her loss theory. Therefore, I would like to get her ideas into order including
her weak points.
I have already read some articles related to rehabilitation psychology.
for example Glueckauf's work(1994) and so on.
I did psychoinfo and yahoo USA however, I can not find good information.
Thank you.
